November - Sexy Just Got Sexier
November is here!
So new look to the site... the old template stays the same because its chunky wide and funky layout will never get old! (Plus you guys seem to really like it!). A lot of the changes feature this gorgeous picture of James Sutton, wallow in its full unedited glory. It's a pity he didn't win any awards again, but that bitter taste we had last time, hasn't returned to mock our taste buds, instead something a bit more exciting did! Pointed out twice in the last month, James Sutton might not get immediate praise, but over the years his portrayal of John Paul will surly become one of legend. A legacy like that is something most people can only dream of.
What's new with the site?
* We did say last month we would be doing some serious re writing and structural changes to the JPDb. That's didn't exactly go as planned. Two of us had a bout of illness, some putter problems and then some serious de motivation with all the online bickering (see below) made us all decide to have a month where we had a life outside of the net. (Instead we
plan to do it all this month!)
* Other than some seriously mild changes there is very little to report for the month of October, the wallpapers are going down well so expect some more in coming weeks (and if you want to create some for us, I'm sure Kiwi will be happy to share her papers page with your works of art)
The Bickering Stuff; Picture coming to your inbox one morning and finding several emails which suddenly threw your site into a argument which you didn't really want to be in, that's what happened to us. Someone had read some comments on the Madam Bowlock page talking about Guy in a rather harsh (but with perhaps elements of truth) way in terms of his future prospects outside of Hollyoaks, then posted about them on the popular DS thread, before long it had been picked up by several other message boards and lots of stupid arguments followed complete with some vile emails.
The comments on Bowlocks page, although sometimes completely accurate, are written in a way which should raise a smile to your face, its tongue in cheek if you will. To have people treating them as gospel rather than gossip and seeing the site entirely as a written law was a bit odd and disturbing. So for one last time (and we have decided to delete all emails which mention this again in the future so don't expect a reply) we love Guy! The comments weren't specifically directed at him in terms of him playing a gay character but simply a reflection of how most Hollyoaks actors leave Chester and are never really heard of again. We don't think he is homophobic and it's got nothing to do with political correctness so stop bloody saying it!!
And finally a big massive cyber loving hug, to all those who came to our defense and supported us. It makes the long hours working on the site worth it xXx

God, I'm sorry, sometimes not being a big Internet presence, I miss a lot. I just thought you guys were suffering from a lack of response with JS's absence from screen.
It really pisses me off that petty minded bickering and misinterpretation can be so divisive. After all, much as we may wish to think JS love is universal, there isn't really enough of us for factions to be healthy.
Anyway, just to say in my small way I fully support all you guys endevours and long may they continue:-)
