November 2008

Wowers how good was last months McQueen v.s Niall face off ending? Perhaps not as good as the Sunset Ending, but still most people were extremely pleased John Paul returned and was able to A) Survive Niall and not suffer a washed out killing off. B) John Paul was able to say proper goodbyes to his family, which was the only flaw in the original sunset ending. C) John Paul returned to Dublin. To Craig.

We liked it (Chapter 14), even if it was for reason number uno; John Paul looking mighty fine with his cuts and bruises and was perfectly capable, and happy, to return to Craig who would cuddle it all better.

October News Round Up - Bringing you all of what happened last month.

Spike is Back... but not with JP this time

- Spike is back. We dirty danced and did a little singing, then whacked out some classic scenes to watch and decided our enthusiasm was totally warranted. Spike was a fantastic character and should never have been allowed to go away in the first place.

- Bryan Kirkwood is leaving Hollyoaks. We love you man! But you well and truly knew that anyway *cackles*. Bryan brought us John Paul complete with all his storylines. The fandom would never have existed without him and hopefully his predecessor can follow in his footsteps, although we think these kind of things need a gay mans touch. Everyone will have to keep watching Hollyoaks to find out!

- da33431's youtube account along with all its videos and entire John Paul history was deleted. This was not good news, nor will it be easy to recover from. Slowly, with the help of other fans emailing us, we have started to replace his links. It's no secret Nick held a huge monopoly of the uploads and although we always knew it could happen we did link to him. A LOT. So our Timeline page, which is our most frequently used page, is suffering. Our continued aim is to maintain John Paul's legacy for as long as we can, so Thank You all who have helped out so far.

Why was it deleted in the first place? Was it Lime? Was it Youtube? Was it anti gay youtubers reporting the videos? We still don't have a proper reason but one of the most commonly held beliefs is that da33431 not only uploaded JP clips and scenes but at times entire episodes which is strictly against Youtubes rules. It's would be a little navie to think that is the probable reason, because the channel had existed for years without incident. Like everything else the reasoning is just one of many conspiracy theories out there.

- Guy Burnet has a guest spot in "The Royal". Interesting, especially if you remember last month when we found out James would be staring in Casualty, also a medical based TV series. Hmmm.
