December 2008
Craig was back in town last month, along with OK-perhaps-he-is-pretty-dishy-after-all Niall. We learnt that John Paul is still not over his ordeal with Kieron and Tina dying at the hands of his evil half brother Niall, and he and Craig are having fights because JP wont properly talk about it. On the plus he is becoming quite the powerful DJ with his very own nights. After Shirt Lofters was there any doubt he would go on to do epic musical things? Ah yes, unfortunately for the other person from "the greatest love story ever told" Craig gets to be tied up all night and a pretty brutal face beating to boot. The villain of the story finally leaps off a cliff and does a star jump spasm halfway down. Then its all over.
November News Round Up - Bringing you all of what happened last month.
- Channel 4 are showing "Hollyoaks Later" this week (week starting December 1st) at 10pm each day. A chance to catch it all over again.

- Spike (Tom Vaughan) was back. Without James and Guy it was always going to be strange, but Spike was his normal charming self, writing (maybe part time) for a newspaper section called "Out and About" and making the whole storyline "gay". It worked out pretty well. Spike should come back again soon! Darn tooting! We've linked to his YouTube uploads for these episodes on his part of the "JPDb People" section (link above).
- James turned on the Christmas lights in Stone Staffordshire, and donated his appearance fee to charity. What a nice chappie.
- James also has his own YouTube account now. Uploading videos of him and ex co stars singing various songs. (Links added to James' Media page, for future use)
- AfterElton are a rapidly growing and increasing well known website focusing on all things gay in the media industry. For anyone not living in a gay capital and instead is exposed to straightness as the norm it's difficult to get the message out there (Gay people exist in a fairly large number and guess what? They want to see themselves on TV too), so a site which celebrates those actors and actresses who depict "our" lives or support of it, is well worth looking at. In the meantime to push you over today, there is a poll which needs our John Paul/Craig/Hollyoaks fan support!
- Digital Spy also have their annual Fitty Fitster poll. (you only get to vote once!)
The Non Flippant News
- Today is worlds AIDS day. Perhaps its fair to say its this disease which has made stories like John Paul and Craig so special, but its a poor consolation when 2008 has shown prejudice and bigotry still run through the world like diseased ridden veins.
- It's a year ago on the 29th, that TPenguin (Kevin McNeill) sadly died.
Although ending on a semi-sober note, we do wish you all a fantastic festive holiday, and will see you early next year to carry on the spirit of JPMQ (plus Company) and the "good fight"!
