January 2009

How were your new years eve celebrations? Did you toast the end to a good year and welcome in the new one with hopes of doing it all over again only better? Hopefully so. If not, fresh starts and all, 2009 here we come!

James as Eli in Casualty 08 (1)

Decembers News Round Up - Bringing you all of what happened last month.

- Last month was the first and only month in the last few years where we have not had John Paul or Craig Dean brightening up our TV or computer screens *shock horror gasp* still we did get to watch James on Casualty (here for the youtube links), hence pictures of dear sleepy Eli in this months blog (thanks to Jan!).

- Stunning, Exciting, Xerothermic and Yummy plus all the other flattering descriptive terms of James (OK that last one back there was a bit of a stretch at best, but look what the letters spell, something most will agree with) from his deep loving fans were not quite enough to get him to the top of the DS Fitty Fitster polls. Ah well, less of him to share around with the rest of the world, Right?

- As talked about in the shoutbox above, James now has a french bulldog called Willis! Isn't that sweet? We have no clue why, but it is.

- Again from the shoutbox, we let you all know last month we were planning on changing the old dead James as Eli in Casualty 08 (2)Nick links charting large chunks of John Paul's story to newer active ones. Well we did pretty well considering, and a huge thank you must be showered down on Becky2330, HollyoaksForever, Axelemoto (Loiseaurougetube), CrumpetsandJam and SuttonAddicts who's own hard work allowed us to turn the timeline page back into what it was destined for.

- With the same "update" and"change" attitude in mind, the site is pretty large now and we do miss bits of it from time to time, if you ever spot anything that is wrong, out of date or you feel needs a radical change. Tell us. We wont be mad/angry/upset/put out/annoyed if you do. McQueen Promise.

- Finally, for any McDean fans, be sure to check out this new forthcoming website. We have yet to see what's inside but it looks like its shaping up to be something a bit special. Show it love, like you have JPMQ.

We wish you an ass (or arse) kicking, fantastic, progressive and fulfilling 2009! And it's because of things like this (AfterElton Write up for John Paul, from September 2008) and this (a storyline from Greys Anatomy) and even this, (recollections of some of the cast from the US Queer as Folk, 35 seconds in, hankies ready) why we aren't going anywhere. John Paul McQueen will always be an inspirational silver anchor, and from it springs golden chains and chains of people who feel the same way you do, fighting to wrap around hearts filled with hatred, bigotry and intolerance and bind them forever. You're never be alone if you don't want to be. Never Forget to live your life in 2009
